Land use reform and comprehensive planning

CHPC was invited to serve on the 2019 New York City Charter Revision Commission’s Expert Panel on Land Use & Planning. The Charter Commission received over 300 proposals for Charter reform during a public submission period. A series of Expert Panels were held for the Commission and its staff to hear feedback from subject area experts on proposals in five issue areas: elections, finance, governance, police reform, and land use and planning. CHPC provided testimony on March 21, 2019, regarding land use reform and comprehensive planning.
