We were delighted to celebrate our 54th Annual Luncheon on Thursday April 4 with so many wonderful colleagues! Our extraordinary honorees moved us all with thoughtful speeches connecting the work of the housing and planning industry with improvements to the lives of our population and a better future for NYC’s communities.

In case anyone had missed all the media coverage, Executive Director Jerilyn Perine updated the audience on CHPC’s busy year. HPD Commissioner Mathew Wambua made an exciting announcement extending the adAPT NYC Competition to a number of new sites in the city over the summer. And mayoral candidate Joe Lhota offered his vision for housing and planning as part of his acceptance of the Roger Starr Public Service Award, bestowed on him for his outstanding work as the head of the MTA through Hurricane Sandy.
