With the rise of micro-units, tiny homes, and single adults, the way the nation utilizes space has shifted to become more efficient. Movable walls that adapt to any environment are now a necessity in smaller rooms as well as, perhaps, a positive outlook. In order to highlight the tiny trend, Washington, D.C.s National Building Museum will open a brand new exhibition that will highlight the variety of cutting-edge technologies that have been created to make the most out of anything itty bitty.

Titled, Making Room: Housing for a Changing America, this exhibition will run from November 18, 2017 through September 16, 2018.
