When: Wednesday, October 22nd, 12:30-2pm
Where: Jarvits Center, 655 W. 34th Street

CHPC will be hosting a panel discussion on  Making Room © at ULI’s annual Fall Meeting, as part of the affordable housing committee events. Making Room is an initiative that seeks to better match a city’s housing stock with the needs of its households, namely the rising single population that now makes up 47% of New Yorkers over 25.

Our deputy director, Sarah Watson, will present the project. Following the presentation will be a lively panel discussion centering on new housing typologies that allow for “affordability by design”- including small, compact studios for singles, legal shared housing and accessory apartments.

Register for the Fall Meeting today!
