On November 3, 2014, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of over 20 Marshall Memorial Fellows from the German Marshall Fund for a presentation of CHPC’s Making Room initiative and a preview of our Making Neighborhoods initiative, which will be launched November 5th. The visitors hailed from 17 European countries and included public officials as well as business and non-profit leaders who are visiting cities across the US to learn about public policy interventions on this side of the Atlantic.
Our analysis of the policy challenges created by newhousehold configurations and changing neighborhood demographics sparked a lively conversation and exchange of ideas. CHPC is committed to sharing New York City’s expertise in housing interventions with foreign policymakers and leaders, and we were happy to welcome the Marshall Memorial Fellows to New York!
