The unadjusted Case Shiller Index for April 2011 shows a welcome month over month upturn in two of the three markets that we are tracking, along with the 10 city composite index. Las Vegas remains mired in the housing recession with continued declines. Some of the upturn reflects seasonal trends for the spring buying season. And it must be noted all of these cities are still below the index readings of April 2010. Still, some reason to hope that we have now seen the bottom of the housing market.
