The Board of CHPC is delighted to announce that Jessica Katz will become our next Executive Director effective January 2018. Jessica joins us from the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, where she most recently served as the Associate Commissioner for New Construction, overseeing the creation of affordable and special needs housing. She has been responsible for an annual capital budget of more than $500 million and for creating thousands of much-needed units of housing. She held a variety of roles at HPD, where she began working in 2003, and also served as Executive Director of Lantern Community Services, a non-profit provider of social services and supportive housing. Jessica received her bachelor’s degree from McGill University and a master’s from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. We are lucky to have Jessica and excited to welcome her to CHPC.
