A Summer Night at the Movies! – August 11
Thursday, August 11th at 6:30 pm
969 Third Ave
New York, NY 10022
Join us for a fun evening celebrating New York Housing on Film! CHPC Executive Director Jerilyn Perine and special guest, acclaimed museum curator Donald Albrect, will be presenting their favorite movie clips that depict New York City housing in a way that is far more illuminating than any book or report you will read.
The films offer so many insights, which will be discussed by Jerilyn and Donald, both in terms of the many depictions of “home” as well as the tumultuous, diverse and rich history of New York City housing.
On top of all that, you will be served crisp glasses of prosecco, popcorn and other movie treats, and recline on the latest in cutting-edge transformable furniture courtesy of our friends at Resource Furniture.
